_With a membership of over 740, Elks Lodge #6 is dedicated to the betterment of the community through their charitable endeavors. Thanks to their members' volunteer efforts, they generate funds to help in a multitude of local and national programs. Do you remember when you were younger and filled your piggy bank with coins to save for something special? This project is called, "The Purple Pig". That's exactly what the California-Hawaii Elks Association is doing, collecting for some very special children. The California-Hawaii Elks Association provides occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language therapy services to children (birth to 18) in their homes. _“NCOA South is an Association of basketball officials that are unified in providing instructional training and mentoring to provide the best officiating in every game.” NCOA is actively recruiting men and women to officiate high school sports in Sacramento, Solano, El Dorado, Placer, Yolo, Napa, Yuba, and Sutter County areas. Sports being recruited are: Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Softball and Baseball. Previous experience is NOT required. Each sport provides excellent Training.
